Just got my Timney for my SPR build, and after quickly glancing over it and the instructions, I have this question:

After the trigger is placed into the receiver and the trigger and hammer pins are installed, it says to tighten down the two hex screws in the bottom of the trigger, however, the ends of the hammer spring go directly across these holes.  How are you supposed to access the screws with the this spring in the way?  Anything else I need to be aware of?

Just pull up on one hammer spring leg at a time and move it toward the other side and tighten the screw, then do the same for the other side.  Otherwise, make sure the set screws that go over the pin lock screws are put in straight so they don't cross thread.  Not much to it...

Just take a flat head screwdriver and put it by the spring arm and turn the screwdriver to push the spring arm towards the inside so there is clearance for the allen wrench to go down in there.  You will need to do the same thing when it comes time to put in the extra set of screws that lock the first ones in place.

Here is another tip...unlike a normal trigger group that has some wiggle room...you will not be able to install the safety selector after the trigger is in place and tightened down...so make sure you have the safety selector in place before you tighten the allen screws that wedge the trigger assembly in place.  Don't ask me how I know this.

You will love the trigger, did you go with the 3 lb. or the 4 lb. ?

thanks, I decided on the 4 lb.  I considered the 3lb but though it may be a little too light.

Someone who knew what he was talking about suggested putting nail polish into the setscrew holes once they are tight.  It acts as a threadlocker and is easily removed with some thinner... good luck
