I recently acquired a Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24 and am looking for a throw lever for it. I know I can get one from Vortex, but I had one of theirs once before and wasn't crazy about the design. My favorite ones that I've used were from 3gunstuff.com, but they don't offer one for this scope. Can anyone make a recommendation?

Thanks.

you're not going to like it, but I'd recommend the Vortex offering

The Vortex one is really the only way to go.  Otherwise you'll just end up buying a few that don't work and then get the Vortex one anyway.   Buy once, cry once.

you want ugly home made sin?

we used to make those with a wide rubber band, a section of rigid tubing, and heavy-duty zip ties

that's ugly

Usually I am jealous about the cool stuff which is sold in the U.S. only and I cannot get it. In this case I am not.

I use a big zip-tie, then cut the excess off w/a razor blade.  Cheap cheap!

Thanks to all who responded. I guess I'll give the Vortex another shot.

These are used a lot in 3gun and they work well and hold up to a beating, and aren't 50 bucks

I've got Vortex throw levers on a gen 1 PST and 3 Gen 2 PST's. I'm more than happy with em.

I ended up getting the Vortex. I think it's going to work out fine.
