I love it except the gay ass bump out on the end.

Same. DD rails are always solid in design and manufacture. But aesthetically I don't like this rail.

Yeah, I still don't know if I can get over the front.

Someone milled it off.. but it still doesn't look look like the front is entirely flat.

I was thinking about just making it flat at the front and then using a piece from the piece that was cut off and fill that hole that was created by cutting it. Then send it off to get cerakote.

THe bump doesn'y bug me, I have the V7LW an love the handguards.
