What've you got against Dr. Crane?
I like the Sabre rollmarks very much. Is it true these are only available on factory complete rifles? |

LMT should have LMT on it Yes I have a Home Build also |

Sabre is a best kept secret ............ BUT NOT FOR LONG. Once the "hive mind" catches on to its quality they will start going out the door pretty fast. This one is a recient acquisition and it now sports a new ACOG not in these pic's. I'll try to get some pic's of that in the next few days and get them posted. Just to let you know I have a couple of "Kool-Aids" ............. the quality is in the Sabre. Ok guys, if you got'm, post'm Nevadasun |

Wrong place at the wrong time, too bad Dafney had to go too, just collateral damage I guess.. Ref Rollmarks, that is what I hear, can't confirm for sure. |
I did the same on a LMT upper and lower with a Sabre 1/7 16" mid length. |

Totally agree on the accuracy statement. I am just getting my SPR broke in (only about 150 rounds) and most guns that I have owned have seemed to improve in accuracy as they get broken in. Mine is already damn close to shooting Sub 1/2" groups right now and it definitely is shooting sub moa consistently with Black Hills 69 & 77 GR HP matchkings. That is not too shabby considering that this is a semi auto AR platform which in theory should not as accurate as a rolling block or a bolt gun. I can confidently say that if I do my part I can see consistent sub 1/2" groups from this gun. And since I am an accuracy fanatic and mostly shoot longer ranges hat means alot to me, that is what makes me buy guns. (I just won an auction on Gunbroker last night for a Cooper Jackson Varminter single shot bolt gun in .17 fireball!!, now that is going to be a fun gun and they guarantee sub 1/2" groups) I think that Sabre is a very good barrel maker and that attention to detail and quality has trickled down to their complete guns. Dare I say side by side my Sabre's fit and finish is better than my Noveske. ( uh oh, now I've done it) Anyway I love my Sabre and think they really make a good product and I just wanted to see what everybody else on this site has so post those Sabre's up and tell us about them.... |
See, man we didn't even make it to page 2. I'm very disappointed that there are not more thundercats on here as they really do make a nice AR.
Oh well, I'll just have to go surf the 500 posts on the other ones...... or hang out on the Noveske picture thread... |

Later this year I'll be doing a build based on Mega receivers. Rest assured I will be using a Sabre SS Fluted Barrel. The point to be made is that Sabre uses 410 SS not the standard 416 that all others seem to use. I'm not sure what that means in terms of rounds down the pipe before the barrel is shot out, but I'm sure it's a "heck" of a lot more than a standard 416 barrel. Hey, I'll see what other parts Sabre is offering at that time and maybe get some of those also. Nevadasun |

Not impressed with Sabre. Bought a barrel with a crooked FSB, sent it back and they returned it without doing any work to it . I don't know about those guys.
How did it shoot? Mine is a tack driver, super accurate, even more than my Kimber or my Tikka bolt guns. I guess I got lucky and got a good one. I guess its like anything you know. I've read dozens of threads about people sending back their S&W M&P's because of problems yet there are people on here that swear by them... Who knows man. I just know that my Sabre Rocks and is accurate as hell. |
I received my Sabre mid-length barreled upper from PK about a week or so ago. Mine had a crooked FSB as well as having one of the taper pin holes drilled way off. I honestly don't know how Sabre would have handled the repair as I didn't give them a call for two reasons; I'm impatient, and this barrel shoots extremely well. I just added a YHm flip sight gas block and called it good. I'll post some pics when I get a chance. I was really bummed about their goof, but I didn't want to take a chance on getting one that didn't shoot as well.

I will try to keep this alive. Where are all of the Sabre owners?
I am not very good with the camera but...........here ya go: http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w178/Spinoni/PICT0280.jpg http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w178/Spinoni/PICT02632.jpg http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w178/Spinoni/PICT0260.jpg |

the LMT upper in the pic i posted has a crooked FSB as well. it's pointed toward 11:00. but it shoots well and the rear sight adjusts into it ok so i'm leaving it. |
No, it is not spelled right. |
You have to buy a complete rifle from the factory to get it. Haven't heard of anywhere else to get one though.. |
Jesus, Century Arms is assembling ARs now, too?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! |
Dang. Oh well, thanks. |
Yeah that sucks, I wanna run around with that lower and spray paint "WOLVERINES" on everything. |
Man I only have a Sabre barrel From the looks of the upper and lower...man I wish I had all Sabre components. Oh well.
Not sure, I'd say give them a call, it's not listed in there catalog. 615-333-0077 |

Sabre Upper 1/7, 16" Sabre stripped lower Trijicon Tripower on American Defense standard hight mount some Magpul stuff on the way, Daniel Defense omega 9.0 rail first time for the range for this rifle. left target was the initial zero, except for the group in the center of the paper, that was from a S&W M&p15 w/ 4x optic. right target was at 100yd shooting from unsupported sitting and standing. shot 15 rounds at it and 6 of those rounds hit the 8.5x11 paper so I though it was overall pretty good |
nice rifle, i have an upper like it on the way. just fyi, a guitar case is for guitars, it looks way cool, but i think it will be considered concealed weapon while in it. |
hmm, any case would conceal a rifle right? I would rather go in and out the house with a case that doesn't tell every body I got a rifle in the house. maybe I should check the state law |
my local gun shop told me today they could order me a Sabre stripped lower for 150. I may pick one up and see what happens.
Have to wait until Tuesday. My wife said this is my fathers day present and to get it myself. |
There is a lot of visible flash forging in the trigger well area.
I highly reccomend eye protection. Eye sight is 100% awesome! Oh and nice rifle! |

Mine was also crooked but the line of sight was correct...I sent it back to them and they installed a new barrel on my upper with a straight up FSB... |

Here's my first Sabre build:
16" middie Sabre upper (all Sabre components) CMMG lower with GI trigger AP Micro T-1/Larue mount (waiting for in-process Hensoldt with flip mount) Now, if I can find a good sling and light to attach to FSB I'll be gtg... http://i339.photobucket.com/albums/n469/molardog/DSC02759.jpg http://i339.photobucket.com/albums/n469/molardog/DSC02760.jpg |

did you have a 16" cut down? I asked one of their field reps if they did a 11.5 and was told no. |
