Please take the following, not as something ya need to do, but as another point of view....., [;)]
Will you never entertain the idea of having a good bolt action hunting/LR rifle, guess the above suggestion is fine. But if you think a some point you might want a decent bolt rifle, I'd by a Leupold 4.5x 14 or 6.5x20 Vari-X III or higher model or go to Premier Recticle and purchase a "new" Gen II recticled Tactical scope. This one time cost of $600-800, depending on your choice will get you a "lifetime" warranty'd product and an item that will last you the rest of your life. It'll also get ya the "nuts on" consistency, so you never have to wonder, "IF" my scope is bad. Placed into an Armalite one piece mount, it'll be easy on easy off and relatively (as no two flat-tops are the same it seems) on the paper when switching from one upper to another.
