Has anyone built a dissy carbine with carbine length handguards?  I like the longer sight radius, just not a fan of the longer handgaurds...or would it look to much like an AK front end?

I suppose it could be done. You'd have both the gas block and front sight block out in front of the carbine handguards. It would look awfully silly in my opinion.

Some competition Space Guns put front sights way out past the end of the barrel on a Bloop Tube.

Why not split the difference and go with a Midlength gas system?
