Hey guys, I have a new LMT Upper with A2 flash hider.  I want to change it out to a vortex.  The A2 seems to be on there pretty damn tight, it's not silver soldered on or "loctited" is it?!

I know "unscrew it", but it's on there damn tight and I' just want to make sure that I'm not going to be messing anything up if I put it in a vice and really try my best to get the flash hider off.

10.5...doesn't that mean the flash hider was pinned on?

My A2 had loctite on it. I took it to my local gun shop. He heated it slightly with a torch and it easily twisted right off. No harm to the barrel or the A2. Then I added a phantom. No problem.

I am assuming that MusicBach14 has a registered SBR lower, and just posted in here instead of the full-auto/NFA forum.

Actually, it's a pistol build.  Thanks for the answers so far.  I guess I'm going to go to my local gunsmith and have him warm it up and take it off.  Thanks for the replies guys-the good ones and the funny ones :D
