I know that stainless steel cases, 7.62 NATO, have been made before.

I would like to get my hands on a 5.56 or 7.62 cartridge. Loaded or empty, makes no
difference.

Just want to add to a growing collection of "stuff".

If you have any leads, let me know.

Also, any useful info would be appreciated

Its not the Nickel plated silver coloured cases you are looking for?
They are not so uncommon, I have seen a lot of .223 in the past

No, not the Nickel plated brass/steel cases.

Actual stainless steel cases.

Since there are so few replies, I am guessing that this will be a very hard find.

I'm sure someone out there knows what I'm talking about

I have/had a stainless 9mm bullet. Well, I say stainless, the bullet was HARD (could not be scratched with other copper projectiles), and I noticed spots of rust on it, it was silver in color. THe case was brass. I don't know where it went to, but I set it aside as a curiosity at the time.

That is the stainless 7.62 I was referring to.

I was curious if any made their way onto the market.

They would certainly be a unique specimen.

Doesn't sound like it would be very good for the barrel...

It was silver for killing warewolves.
