[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Sight problem

I have an A2 rear sight with a fixed carry handle on my Bushmaster. I noticed today that the sight base was loose ( I can move the sight base left and right) . Is their a quick fix for this problem or should I send the upper back and have Bushmaster fix it?

It's normal IF when you turn loose of it, it goes back to where it was. There's a ball bearing with a spring on the left side of the sight that should cause the sight to pivot CCW till it hits the carry handle.
