Ok, so I have been looking around here for quite some time... finally registered and have been attempting to search for answers (I know are here) to questions I have. I am a firm believer in the search function and would prefer to exhaust all options before posting a question. So, here is my first question... how can I get to advanced search options or something that will open the search results to more than "no topics found"?

Below the block where you enter the Keywords is a block that you need to change to:
GET POSTS FROM Last 24 Hours "AND OLDER" You are probably using the default search for posts less than 24 hours old. Took me a couple of days to find that out myself. There is also a selection in the same GET POST FROM area where you can click on "Search Archives" and it takes you to a different search area. |

Thanks for the reply... but I think I have found out the issue...
2) HOW DO I SEARCH? The search tool is available on the forum tool navigation bar, below the advertising sections. Clicking on SEARCH allows you to enter the search tool. Free accounts are limited to searching within the technical areas and have limitations on search parameters. As a Team Member, the search is open and also includes an Archive Search. At this time the search for both the site and archives is being reworked to provide a wide variety of search and display options. |
