Went ammo shopping today and found a couple decent deals. First, went to China-Mart and saw the WWB for $9.98. Yeah, I passed. BUT I did notice some Remington/UMC sitting on the shelf still marked for $3.97/box. Asked the guy how many he had and he replied 10. "I'll take them all."  Got a couple strange looks from customers that were nearby, but who gives a crap. Guy starting ringing them up and they showed as $4.97/box. Politely I told him the price was different and he said, "you can have them for $3.97". SWEET! I would advise some of you guys and gals out there to check your Wal-Mart for this mistake. I have no problem taking advantage of China-Mart.  Next I went to the local gun store and noticed some Q3131 without a price. Asked how much and was told $5.69/box (I think). Talked with the guy and got him to sell my what he had left for $4.95 box. Score! Not the best price ever, but pretty decent with things the way they are now. They only had 33 boxes though. One thing that did puzzle me was the price of the USA223R1 (20) round boxes at the local gun store. $6.69/box. FOR 20 ROUNDS. They have Wolf, but won't sell it by the case. Said that they can't get anymore right now. I think they wanted like $4.xx/box. I like this gun store but I am curious how they price some of their ammo. I figured USA223R1 would be a little cheaper than Q3131.  Anyways, thought that I'd share. Keep an eye out folks, there are some decent deals to be had if you look closely. -X |
