Hello everyone,

I am new to the AR15.  I am ordering a RRA Elite Tactical rifle.  16" w/ A4 carry handle.  What I am wondering is what are some good scopes that will work on the carry handle?  Plus a mount that will still allow use of the iron sights.  The RRA comes with a picatinny rail which I hear makes it easier to mount scopes.   This idea, how well will it work?  Any help and ideas are greatly appreciated.

Also, I am just going mainly for plinking on the range.  100 to 200 yds.  I would like to stay under say 300 dollars if possible for scope and mount.

I'm going to jump in here as my question is nearly identical to Dane's.

I've got an XM15 A3.  It'll be 80% range work at 100 - 300 yards and some 3 Gun Matches when I get the nerve to attend them.

I'm looking for suggestions on a good scope (Leupold is my first choice) and a set of rings.  Better still would be a quick-release mount for the scope to save time and effort in switching from iron to glass.
