Just installed a 12" Samson Evolution rail on my M400. Just wanted to show it off.

How narrow/wide is that handguard? I'm trying to decide on one for my middie to replace my YHM diamond. I had the luxury of holding it before I bought it. I was deciding between this and the Troy. I went with this one just based on feel. I liked the smoothness. The O.D. Of the tube is ~2". Sorry about the socks. Trust me. I don't go out in public like that. |

Looks good OP! What's the weight of those Samsons feel like? They look light! I don't know the exact weight. I know it's very balanced. It does not make the rifle feel front heavy at all. I'm sure someone will come along that knows the exact weight. 11.5oz with the bushing. This is a great rail and is pretty narrow. That's what drew me to it. I also agree that it is smooth and feels great in the hands. That was the deciding factor for me between this and the Troy. The Troy is a sweet rail but isn't nearly as smooth. |
