Does anyone have a source for SA battle packs, or is this ammo hard to get now?

In 5.56 it's pretty much gone. You might find some here and there, but it's no longer coming into th US. AIM has the 140 round battle packs of .308, I do not know if more is going to come in tho, or how much they have in stock.

Are the .308 SA battle packs from AIM good stuff?

Yes, I've gotten a LOT of it and I have been happy with all of it. If you buy the 980 round case it works out to 21 bucks a pack of 140. Thats like, 3 bucks per 20 rounds.

Ya, it is wierd that we can still get cases of surplus 7.62x51 for cheap, but 5.56 is going up, up, up, if you can find it.
