Makes for a good lower 1/3 co-witness.

The Tripower is good, real good. The chevron is the cats ass. Rangefinding and precision with   variable eye relief. You can see it on a white cloud on a sunny day. Also on a flourescent bulb, side of my white garage in direct sunlight. All of these are with battery on but that is the point of three light systems in it. The fiber optic setup works on all but bright white surfaces when in daylight. The tritium is dim, low light or dusk or dark only.

The LaRue...returns to zero time and again. Has battery storage and security lock too

Troy BUIS, excellent, easy install, low, light weight, locks up solid, simple to adjust.

Nice rifle and nice choice of optics. It gets even better when you put a Aimpoint 3x behind it. I traded mine just yesterday for a compact ACOG, only because I am looking for a smaller compact package for my AR15. I don't care what anyone on this board says, the Tri-powers are nice sights, with a well defined aiming point. The ones who complain about the front signature will never see combat a day in their life. I have and it is not a pretty sight.

Shot this rifle extensively yesterday, even more impressed with the Tripower now. The chevron is crisp and well defined. Never had a "dot" I coul d say that before. Owned Eotech, c-more and aimpoint preivously.

The Larue mount returned to zero well too.

What does everyone use or suggest for covers for the Tripower lenses?

The rear is the same size as an Aimpoint so that would work. I tend to measure the scope and then fit Butlercreek caps. Good luck.

a few new pics, still waiting on a UBR to complete the rifle the way I want it. Maybe a few Pmags too.
