So I made another retro. A 653 I built for my brother. I know the FH is an extended A2, and the Lower is an A2 (gray McKay). But every thing else is GTG. Well except the F marked FSB and the Tick mark selector, but really it's okay!

Nice build. My 654 replica is the best handling of my AR's, bar none. Mine has the extended A2 as well, I built it before anyone was making extended A1's. I bet your brother is mighty pleased.

He asked me to build it after he shot my Israeli clone. I've got a picture of him with a big S&*t eating grin, but wont post with out permission.
We were out after it started to get dark. That extended A2 works VERY VERY well at hiding flash. Made the A1 bird cages look like flame throwers.

Yes that is the case. It will fit 2 full size ARs with out mags inserted. Mine is dated 1962.
