folks,
just wanted to get your 0.02 on removing the front sling swivel-- i have a BM M4-gery, with a KAC M4 sling mount and a single point sling (CQB solns HST-ERB).  thus i really have no need for the front swing swivel.  is there any reason i should leave it on?  do you folks with similar single point sling setups take off your swivels?

what's the best/easiest way to get the stock swivel off (it's held on a rolled over rivet).  carefully drill off end with the bent over flanges?

thanks for any tips.

One light tap with a 1/8" punch and a mallet usually knocks the cap right off the rivet.  It's worked on 2 of my guns.
