| I am interested in getting into reloading for the 223. Is there anyone that sells a beginner setup. I need to get everything including the tools to measure length etc. Any suggestions where to start looking? I would like to start small (i.e. on a budget) and learn the basics. Time is not realy a concern, learning the proper things is. |

If you shoot a large volume of ammo just for pure plinking fun, reloading won't be worth it for .223 because you can just buy cheap surplus for just about what you could reload for. Not to mention it takes a lot of time to reload. Now if you are shooting a varmint or precision rig and want match grade ammo, then reloading is worth it. I have a varmint AR that I load for, and ammo costs about 50% less than match factory stuff depending on the brand (like 70% savings over Federal match).
