cool gun...

See alot of them that appear to be in service with A1 or A2 buttstocks. Wonder if that is preferred for real shooters. Maybe the old salt shooters just can't break away from the fixed buttstocks.

[day dreaming]Wish I could get one of those Ops Inc silencers.[/day dreaming]

I can't speak for others, but I prefer the A1/C1 length stock on my 3Gun rifles.

Nice. Is that the real deal or a clone?

Anyone know where to get the longer rail pieces for the PRI tube? I need one for my Mod0 clone.

Is that a real 12th model suppressor? the technology in that can is very cool. You should look at their 3 patents.

HK here is your rail http://www.pri-mounts.com/detailpages/05-070-02.htm

The can was from OPS INC.

4,576,083, 4,907,488, and 5,476,028. patents

PS: A1 stocks are cool LOP is great for me, but are kinda difficult to use in prone due to the sling swivel. "where to put your hand for stability"

I have a Crane clone collapsable on my Mod 1 SPR but it sits at the same LOP as an A1 and never moves, so I'm questioning the need for the Crane clone on the SPR, especially with the ban coming to an end. I could put that collapsable to use elsewhere. Thinking of a standard A1 or maybe a VLTOR A1 Modstock.

mongo get the VLTOR....

Off topic but how come every time I see a guy wearing one of those belts they never put them through the belt loops? Am I missing something there?

Thanks, thinking about it.

Belt looks like it might have a velcro setup securing it, folded over the loop. Just a guess.

That's it. Once the loose end goes through the buckle, it velcros back to the main loop.

Try Adco, C4iGrant or MSTN, they have them on their website...

I see how it goes through the buckle, I was talking about putting it through all the belt loops on your pants. Why do you not put it through the belt loops on your pants like a regular belt?

Back on topic..... That is a sweet camo job.

The rifle is built on an A1 receiver, hence the A1 buttstock. You can see the A1 pistol grip, too.

Depending on what "take" they choose, there might be footage of me shooting this gun from a HMMV on the Outdoor Channel in Feb. The other two takes were me shooting my JP rifle. (The Outdoor Channel had a film crew at the Int'l Tactical Rifleman Championships in Gillette WY last weekend.)

Some very cool guys let me have some trigger time on this SPR.

I didn't see this answered fully yet so I'll chime in.

With a riggers belt you thread the belt thru all the belt loops starting on the left side around to the right side. The the bit end (free running end) passes thru the buckle and back towards the first right belt loop. It can't go back into the loop again because that space is already taken so you just smooth down the bit end securing the remainder with the velcro sewn to the underside.
