I would put the MagPuls in the best mag bodies, test them a few times at the range to assure function, and make those your "real use" mags. Use whatever is left to make range mags. Occasional stoppages at the range isn't going to be deadly, and in fact allows you to train to clear them quickly. I actually have some known-bad mags that I keep just for such drills, though my rifles often manage to make them work somehow...
