Sorry to be a newbie PITA but, I'm expecting my new RRA Varminter in next week and I'd like to get set up for it. My dream set up is for a fairly large, (Tasco SS or Leupold 6-24X50 LR)scope with quick detachable mount and BUIS. Is this possiable while keeping the scope low enough to get a good cheek weld?? Suggestions please. Pictures if possiable.

The RRA is a flat top and I currently own the scopes.

Good mount suggested here IMHO. Here’s a pic… It’s a poor picture, and the rifle is not a RRA, but you can see the hand guard clearance w/ this mount. Scope = 3.5-10x50 Leupold. Not sure if this help, but thought I’d suggest it (one newbie PITA to another). Mn_308

Thanls Mn: I've considered the Armalite. Is there room for a #40 buis with this mount?

I don’t think there is room for the Arms#40 with this set-up. I haven’t used it, but I think that a KAC BUIS might work… www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=161280&w=searchPop
