I am thinking about putting together a new upper to go with this spare RRA lower that I have. I'd like to build a 20" stainless barrel upper for woodchucks and such.

I am looking at either a ER Shaw 20" stainless barrel or a RRA 20" stainless barrel. Both are 1 in 8 twist. I will be using a Vortex flashhider if that makes a difference.

Which has the greater reputation for accuracy? Which would you choose if the price was just about equal?

Thanks,
Matt

Well I took your advice. I just paid for a Rock River 20" A4 upper with the stainless 1 in 8 barrel. Any idea what kind of groups at 100 yards I can expect from this barrel once it is free floated?

Thanks,
Matt
