| Here's the deal. I've got a stock RRA middy. I want to put a Meopta 1-4x in a LaRue SPR mount. My question is do I need to get a flip-up front sight or can I use the scope with the stock front sight? |
| At 3x, the sight will be a shadow. At 4x it will be unnoticible. You will see it a bit at 2x and obviously you will see it at 1x. Most people don't have trouble with that, so you should be fine. Of course, if it annoys you then you can always get a flipup sight. |

I just recommend trying it out and seeing if it works for you. You can always get a front flip up site like Phoebus said.
