Just rcv'd one.....looks nice and robust. The problem is that, when its in the down pos, its not under and spring tension and has about a 1/4" flop to it (up/down, not side to side.)Once in the up pos it locks in nice.

Is this sight defective or are they all like that? Appreciate any input.

My Bushmaster flip up is the same. I does not flop around, but it is also not under spring pressure when down. Just FYI so you don't think your the only one and end up buying the BM or something.
