I was curious as to approximately when/why Colt began to stamp their plastic but stocks with a "1" on one side and an "N" on the other. Did they start to use this marked stock with a particular model carbine, or is it typical random Colt type business?, i.e., some with, and some without the markings on whatever model. Again, just curious. Thanks for any info. Cloak-
