I saw an Italian made AR style .22 rifle today and was wondering if anybody here knows about these. It had WOOD grip, butt stock and hand guards... A1 style upper and lower with all standared items molded onto there parts. The only working parts were trigger, mag release(not standard) and safety. I beleve it was a model 74 but im not real sure, the owner said he got it in '85 but it had no date stamp. Looking to pick it up from him but if its a P.O.S. i'll pass.  Any help would be great.
