Do they email a tracking number or do you just get your stuff one day unannounced?

I'm frustrated because the good communication stopped as soon as my lowers were delivered to them.

I'm not worried, just want an answer.

They did one for me a couple months ago.  About five weeks after I shipped the lower to them I emailed Ident - they responded right back and advised it had been completed and was headed my way.  They also provided a tracking number.  Don't know if they would have notified me anyway or not.  Just shoot them an email and request the tracking number when the receiver is returned. By the way - they do excellent work.

Cool.

The testimonies about their work is why I sent my lowers to them.

I also don't wanna cross the line and become "that customer" and get my stuff sent to the bottom of the stack for bugging them too much.

I always had good experiences with them.  I've had them do about four jobs and they were very customer friendly. They even answer the cell phones listed on their website.  I don't recall getting tracking numbers from them (I might have and just don't remember).  I seem to remember calling one time and they said it was sent a few days before my call.

I have sent two lowers to them, both came back flawless.

It's been taking all my will power to not send a constant, "Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet? Are they done yet?"

They do good work but they don't let you know when they send the stuff back to you.  It just shows up one day.

I have sent them five projects.

Two of them I got back about two weeks after they received them.

One project was three weeks.

One project was four weeks.

One project was five weeks.

All the projects were the same level of complexity.

It just depends on how busy they are.

Be aware also that you have to be home to sign for the package.

Ive sent them two lowers, one was in-the-white, and one was already anodized. IMHO the one that was engraved after it was andodized looks better.

I have one lower I want to send to them, but I'm waiting on my stamp to arrive so that info can also be engraved. Did you guys go through an FFL 01 to send your lowers or can you send them through the Postal Service since their rifles ?

Sent them UPS.  Once you've taken an SBR all apart even the ATF thinks its just a normal rifle again.

Relax, they do great work. They are very busy right now. I'm also waiting on one. They have done three lowers for me and the results were perfect. They even engraved one lower incorrectly and replaced the lower and redid the job without question.

Replacing the SBR lower would really cost them.  But I'll bet nothing goes wrong.  The rifle lower is more easily replaced, but they're sequential serials...

Are they done yet?
Are they done yet?
Are they done yet?
Are they done yet?
Are they done yet?
Are they done yet?
Are they done yet?
Are they done yet?
Are they done yet?

Makes you wonder how I survived the wait for two Form 1's doesn't it?

They did reply to an email and indicated that it'd be "one or two weeks".  That changes the original estimate of 2-3 weeks to 3-4 weeks.  That's an indication of being busy to me.  While it's a delay I kinda want them to be busy, because that means they'll be in business next time.  And there will be a next time...

They told me 4-6 weeks on the one I had sent from Nodak a couple of weeks ago.

Let the fretting begin in earnest.

26Jun12 was three weeks of the original 2-3 weeks.
03Jul12 was four weeks of the amended "in a week or two" I got at the end of week 2.

I hate estimates that have no basis in reality at all.

Could be tomorrow, could be a month; and I hate not knowing.

You should have SBR'd the lower, then had it engravedd while you were waiting for the stamp - that's my plan. That way you wouldn't even notice the lag time.

One of them was already SBR'd.  That's easier for me to take since they say, "forever".

Turns out all I had to do was whine in public and all would be well.

I have a tracking number and a picture of the finished work.

hello, I also shipped a lower to ident and was told 2-3 weeks, by the time it was all said and done it was 8,  I also made numerous calls, about every other one was answered.  I did finally get the receiver and it looks good,
