| Thinking of getting this one with bcg & Ch for $475 and also noticed the Bcm BFH Midlength for $735. Is the Bcm worth the extra $275-300? |

Depends on what you want from the rifle.
I have both at home and while I do think that the BCM CHF middy is the better rifle I don't feel "naked" with the PSA CHF carbine I have. If you can afford the BCM upper get it, to save your self from wondering. If you have a budget issue and can only afford the PSA don't sweat it, it will do you well. My PSA was my first build, the BCM my 2nd. The former hit the 4000 round mark this week with the only issue being needing new gas rings on the bolt Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

This rifle will be a home defense set up and the upper will be going on a Bcm lower. Money is a little tight right now and I also don't have to have a matching upper for the lower. This would also be a good way to go IMO http://grabagun.com/spike-s-tactical-556nato-m4-le-upper-16-blk.html That would be in between the PSA and BCM in price range, Spikes gives a lifetime warranty so keep that in mind |

get the psa and not worry. The only worry is from internet fanbois that only argue with emotion Quoted:

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the PSA setup you are looking at. If you feel that it is going to suit your needs, by all means get it. After all, the barrel is made right there in South Carolina by FN and you get the PSA Premium BCG along with it. You cannot go wrong. |

| I have one of those PSA Premium CHF M4 uppers among a bunch of others and the thing runs like a champ. I would bet my life on it for what its worth. Mine was a little overgassed so I threw an H2 buffer in it after it got it cut down to to 14.5, pinned and welded and it's a joy to shoot now. |

Ended up getting the Midlength Premium with Bcg and ch for 399 shipped! Now hopefully it runs! Good choice. I have 2 of the lightweights Middies CHF in 16" and one pinned to 16.1". They all run great and without issue. The 14.5" seemed a little undergassed at first, but never had an issue. The plus side is it feels like a .22. |
