Can someone give me an idea of what a Colt bolt assembly should cost? Not with the carrier just the complete bolt assembly.I saw the Bushmaster for 49.95.Is the Colt better?

A new Colt AR complete Bolt/carrier assembly will run you
$125-145.

A complete Bushy AR Bolt/carrier assembly will
run you $119 from the factory.

Is the Colt better? No. Once again it's the "prancing horse" separating you from your money.

You want a assembly closer to mil-spec(M16) configuration? Get the Bushy. Cheaper too.

Excuse my first post.

The Bushy BOLT ASSY alone(no carrier) IS 49.00.

The Colt will run you about $20.00 more.
Other than that, the same applies  to the above.
