I have some reservation about the MSS stock, but I did vote for the Vltor as teh best on the market thus far.

Like what? I was planning on getting one. I'm curious to know what you don't like.

The Vltor stock being the best. In distant second would be the Crane stock ( if it had Vltor improvements ). The Third best stock would be the Colt ACR, the father of the all triangular cheekweld stocks.

Can someone please post pictures of these variants? I am not familiar with the magpul.

Just got my Magpul MSS M93 yesterday. It's a great stock. I love that the cheek weld is always the same no matter what position it's locked into. Oh... and that leads to the other thing that impressed me... It LOCKS! There is no wiggle or loose feel at all.

Close second is the VLTOR.

How solid is the Vltor?Does it wiggle like the CAR and M4 stocks?

The VLTOR is more solid than a CAR stock but does still have a little bit of play in it. I love mine.

With the MSS, it's just like having a fixed stock once it's locked.

Vltor.

At first I was holding out for a Crane, then I read about all the improvements that Vltor did over the Crane. I still think it is butt ugly but I love this stock. Mine was so tight when I fist got it that it did not want to lock into the #2 or 3 positions. It has since broken in but it is tight with NO rattle at all.
