Will Perma Silk work on steel Sten mags? Has anyone tried it? Also, does Perma Silk offer any kind of corrosion resistance?

I have seen some Sten mags refinished with the back on Teflon/Moly finishes and they seem to work quite nice. They will show some signs of wear but it will still keep them from rusting.

I use the stuff from Brownells but there are supposed to be several other similar products that are supposed to work just as well.

Thanks, thats what I get for not checking it.[:(]

I used the Perma S on  3 Lancaster 50rd mags that fit my Mac 11.  They turned out just fine.  They are a definately a lighter color than what the orig Lancaster/Sten mags are.
