I'm new to AR's and new to this site.  I have read some unflattering threads about Fulton Armorym mostly on the Competition Forum.  Is this a qaulity problem, business ethics or personality conflict?  The reason I ask is Fulton has an upper outfitted just the way I want.  I can purchase for $200.00 more than having my stock upper retrofitted.  I figure I can buy it and mount it, without having to send my toy away for a lengthy stay on a gunwrenches bench.  Plus I get a second complete upper without having to alter my factory upper.  Am I barking up the wrong tree?

There prices are the same as others, when it comes to built rifles.  

The problem is since most of us build up our rifles, we achieve the same or better rifles for a lot less money.
