Thank you for the heads up Jeff.

I will look forward to reading about the POF system. I really like the HK M416 review SAR conducted.
It will be interesting to see how the two compare.

Thanks,

Chris

Same here..........looking forward to the read.

On the subject of the nickel-material, is it Colt that owns that patent? IIRC, they plan(ned) to produce  guns on large numbers using that material, which was expected to revolutionize the small arms industry

If it lives up to its billing, it certainly could change things in a big way - not only to the arms indutry, but for thousands of other everyday life applications.

I believe you;re thinking of Ultra Chem.  Colt has been given an exclusive license to this coating by the manufacturer.

Jeff,

Is there any chance we could see an eval of the Ultimax 100 LMG?

Thanks.

I'll make some notes and run it by the staff at the editorial meeting next week.  Good timing!

Jeff Z :)

Sounds great Jeff!  I have yet to encounter an editor (or any firearms enthusiast, for that matter) that would decline a chance to shoot an LMG!

Thanks for listening.
