Need help from someone above my pay grade!
AR15 Pistol builds: 7in barrel, BCM BCG, using T2 or T3 buffer with Springco blue. Guns run fine except with the PIG. With the KX3 everyone will jam in rapid fire mag dump attempt. I suspect back pressure from using the PIG. Like the PIG..but..any cure? Thanks |

So sorry...my bad... guns run fine with other FLASH suppressors...jams with the pig.
Left out a very important word,,,FLASH! Thanks for the catch and I'll go down in buffer weight and also go up to the 6.+oz... just seemed an over gased problem with the PIG giving a little more pressure. Over my pay grade for sure. |

My thoughts are...
it scavenges the gas not unlike a megaphone exhaust. The shape of the pig's chamber, and an early 60's racing snowmobile exhaust are the same. It removes the gas faster, so a lighter buffer may work on this short barrel. I am however, no thermodynamic engineer.

Check your extractor spring, insert, and add an o-ring or d-ring in there. Also go to a Endine or H2 buffer.
I had a 7 1/2" build that had an out of spec M16 hammer which was converted to an AR15 hammer (not enough removed) and rubbed on the bolt assembly. Once that was running I later added a Pig break and had some issued. I did the above and never looked back. As reliable as any other AR I have used. The Pig break worked as advertised and really made a difference. Mike |
