Denny, could you check your email on my request for some KNS parts and have you heard of these pins breaking rather than bending like the cotter pins?  I've heard some good and bad things about solid pins so maybe you can clear it up.  thanks!

I have fought, mangled, replaced so many of the cotter pins that retain the bolt in the carrier I can't count them.

I have also seen these pins around and wondered about them.  I believe the original spec was to use these pins and they switched to cotter pins to save a few bucks.  I don't know that for sure though and I'd sure like to hear from people who know their stuff.. Tweak comes to mind.
