I just picked up a Nikon M223 1-4x for my AR.

I want to get the Burris PEPR mount for it, but was wondering if this will give me enough height to clear the front factory iron site.  The gun is a Bushmaster that came with a removable carry handle that has been removed.

Thanks

It should be fine.  I'd look at the RRA High Rise.  I think it's a bit less $$ and sits up a bit taller.

I have a 1x4 Leupold in a P.E.P.R. mount on my AR and it works fine .If you have the power on the scope down to 1 you might see the front sight as a slight blur ,and it doe's not interfere with shooting the gun.
As for the RRA mount ,my buddy has one on his AR and it seems a little lower on the gun then the P.E.P.R so if you want a BUIS under the scope there might be a problem with that. The scope height will be the same but the space under the scope and the top of the rail is a little lower. I put a Troy BUIS under the PEPR and there's room to spare. Hope this helps.

Thank you it helps greatly...My only concern was the front site...circled below....and I will very rarely be using 1x anyway, most of the time it will be on 3x and 4x

If you do see it through the scope , as stated above it will be a bit blurry, but also will be at the top of your view due to the inversion so you can just lower your eye a bit and look under it so to speak.  I just don't like the PEPR because of the rails on top, just added weight and all.  You could always replace the FSB with a fold up front sight gas block.
