So I'm living in the Golden State and I have what I have, I can't get no more.  I have a Colt 6601 blue label from before the ban.  I just got a Colt marked 4x20 short scope.   It fits on the carry handle without a scope mount.  I tried it, but it is hard to use because of it's height.  Will one of those Cherokee stock mounts solve the problem.  Whats the overall opinion of this scope?  If I can get this to work, then I can have a 20 inch barrel AR with a scope and a 16 inch barrel (Bush) with only iron sights.  (I love iron sights)  What think ye?

When I was deployed a couple years ago, all the spotters in my platoon had ACOGs or mini-ACOGs mounted on the carry handle of their 203.  We were able to get the command to buy us the Delta-style cheek pieces and the combo worked pretty dang well.

One of these days when I have the funds, I'm going to put a mini ACOG on my A2 carbine.
