I need some scope recommendations. I recently bought a S&W M&P 15 T 1/9 with a geisselel trigger and other upgrades. Any recommendations?

ACOG TA33
Vortex 1-4x or 1-6x.
Leupold 1-6x.

Whatever you do, don't stick a fudd/hunting style 5-15x scope on top of a nice AR-15 carbine.

You have to ask yourself what do you intend to use it for.  Long distance varmint hunting,  deer hunting, home self defense, 3 gun  range toy.  That will guide your optics choice as well as your budget. fro 200-100 yards rds with a 3x magnifier gets you self defense range to  200 yards.  the 1-4 scopes with a BDC are good at self defense ranges  to 400- yards plus depending on how good you are with a gun.  RDS range from cheep to   expensive as do all scopes for that matter.  More money buys you  precision optics and longevity in optics.  I have  a eotech 517( for sale!)   I switched over to a 1-4 in part due to the laser sight bothered my asitigmatism.  I like the 1-4  and there are a variety of good scope in the moderate price range depending on what features you want and the reticle.  There is a good  review of all of them in the FAQ at the top of the page.  I bought a burris mtac on ebay for 340 and am going to buy a leatherwood cmr4 for  my TAVOR.     you can also spend a lot on  a cantilever mount  from Larue or ADM or less on  Burris PEPR or  Primary arms or SWFA mount.

Its mainly for hunting and shooting purposes (I am a good shot). Ive never been one to know all the ins and outs of all the different scopes. I want something with a lifetime warranty (leupold or whatever) that can I can use from 100-300 yards if it will allow me to shoot further great. If I decide I was to shoot a doe in the head with at 200 yards I want a scope that can do it.

Based on that I would recomend taking a look at the 1-4 scopes   leatherwood cmr4  burris mtach or the  vortex.  Vortex and burris have lifetime warranty's

I was suppose to look at a 4x32 ACOG in Houston last week but the guy changed his mind. It was about half price.

If you are planning to head shoot deer at 200, I would look for something with greater mag than 4x, and a smaller dot size than most acogs have.

I'd recommend moving up to a 3-9 power for longer range hunting.
