I watched the video on optic cleaning in the FAQ.  Seems to me acetone is a little harsh for cleaning lenses.  I know it can frost over plastic lenses on safety goggles.  I would also think it could soften and remove protective coatings or other coatings.  Just my opinion.  I would use something a little less harsh.  Maybe windex with no amonia.  Something ment for glasses would be good.
