Who here has the front or rear or both DPMS Mangonel flip-up BUIS?  I'm wondering how well they are regarded.  Can folks post some pictures of these sights on AR's?

Also, the rear sight, is the hole more similar to the large or small rear hole on a standard A2 sight?

I have a set, and I find that although they are not without fault, they are very functional as what they were made to be..... BACK UP IRON SIGHTS..... not precision sights.  The rear ap, by the way, is inbetween the two apperatures.  Just a one size fits all battle apperature

I dont have any on any of my guns, but I have installed a set on one guys gun and insallted just the rear sight on another guys gun. I've been told that of you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all. So I wont. But I will ask what attracts you to these sights?

I have an Aimpoint CompC on my A3 and had a #38-EX Swan Sleeve with an integrated backup sight and my gas block was of the four-rail variety.  I didn't yet have a backup front sight.

I was able to trade my Swan Sleeve for one of these front sights and $40 and found a seller that was selling the matching flip-up rear sight for $55.  So, the price attracted me at first as I was able to go from having a basiclly useless rear sight to having a front AND rear flip-up backup sight for essentially $15.

Also, the fact that the front sight is adjustable as to where it sits, either on a plane that matches that of the upper or on a railed gas block appealed to me as that gives me a lot of options as far are the future configuration of my rifle and being able to keep using the same front sight.
