I know Oly doesn't make them, but I was wondering if anyone ever tried to convert one to fire 9mm?

You'd have to replace the barrel (of course) and the bolt (duh) but having no experience with them, I don't know how easily existing parts would work, and with how much customization.

I personally think that a pistol caliber in that small of a package would be a lot better than the 5.56, and it would be great to do away with the pistol buffer sticking out the back.  You can also go SBR with it and add a folding stock with an ACE adapter.
