It will most likely end up with a 1-4, just holding out for a deal. Pinned 14.5. The other one is a pinned 14.5 for my wife with a Bushnell 1-4. Shoots great, and accruate.

My civilian job is hard on the ears too. Gotta love this tinnitis banging in my ears while out hunting. Anyways, back on track- it is probably a good idea to always use ear pro.

My iPotato pics from today's range session with Finslayer83. The bipod is his but I'll be getting one soon for my own rifle. The scope and mount just came in Thursday, a Primary Arms Gen 2 1-6 ACSS reticle variable, and a Burris PEPR non-QD mount. Once I got it figured out how to zero the glass, anything inside the maximum range we had, 100 yards, was fair game. Turning clay pigeons into fragments, then turning the fragments into powder, were no problem. Ammo was the ultra-cheap Tulammo 55gr. steel cased ammunition, and it all ran without incident. I ran two mags of Federal M855 green-tip to confirm zero with this round, but I'm saving the rest for a rainy day. All in all, it was a great day at the range. Finslayer83 was his usual patient self, answering my stupid questions about zeroing my scope. To end the day we shot our Glock 34s in the pistol pit, 150 trouble-free rounds through my brand-new Gen4 G34. |

What optic are you running on that? And how does it work with that light on the top rail...looks like the light would interfere with your view? Trijicon TR24 1-4x, the light is semi integrated into the the front sight keeping completely out of the way. It's lower profile, no need for an additional mount, and It's more comfy for me in the 12'o clock. |

That is my favorite receiver set to date. It balances out really well with a 14.5" or shorter barrel. I'd post pics of mine here; but instead of the Recce or Mini-Recce route I went with Magpul furniture, a 14.5" 1 in 9 twist Windham Weaponry (Green Mountain) barrel with standard FSB, an ALG NB trigger, complete Spikes lower build kit, AIM NB BCG with a TLR-1S... It's my favorite rifle in the company of complete Spikes, an Adcor Defense, and an old Colt. That's going to be a sweet build you have there brother! |

Just need to finish it up with some paint...... I have a BiPod I can toss on it but I really dig how light weight it is like this! Does anyone know where I can pickup a Cat Tail for the NF 2.5-10?

Ryan- It is the 745 w built in 10moa. It's usually on my mk17 clone, it doesn't need the extra moa but I had the mount laying around and decided to run it because the levers are on the opposite side of the charging handle. No more busted knuckles

Man, what a great day. Since winter has decided to avoid Alaska for the time being, we get to shoot more
This 12.5 Noveske is the sweetest little rifle in my inventory, right now. With full power ammo, an H buffer, and a Wolff XP, it has turned in to the softest shooting 5.56 I have. I have the Razor dialed in at 100, and it prints clovers off a bag all damn day long. I cannot wait for my can. It is the only way I could be happier with this rifle.

Jeff I am enjoying it more an more every time I go. The forgiving eyebox is making me love it. We are going to a pit next week to shoot multiple targets, staggered from a bench and prone. I might throw a bipod on the little one for this. Trying to get out of my 100-150 comfort zone. I had some buyer's remorse over the weight. That is long gone. This is a great optic, and with both eyes open at 1x, it is the closest I own to 1x RDS. |

I'm liking YHM muzzle devices more and more these days. They work well at dusk and they are half the price of the Smith Enterprise flash hiders I'm so fond of... |
