I'm running an Oly 9mm upper on a factory assembled DPMS lower half. No problems at all with the stock buffer and spring.

I am running mine on a Bushmaster with no problems. You shouldnt have to change anything in the lower.

Hardshell, thanks. I swapped over the upper to my DPMS lower just to try it out. Haven't fired it this way yet. But it seemmed to function, dry fire ok. So I'll get to the in door range Sat and try it out. Gonna buy another new upper so I'll have 2 9mm guns. BobK
