My friend installed a muzzle break (one that has ports only on sides and has quite a release of gases on the sides) and pinned it to the barrel of the Tavor. Now, the muzzle break seems to be off around 0.2 (not timed) looking from the side of the muzzle and aligning it with the upper plastic of the tavor. When looking from the side of the stock and aligning with the upper rail it seems perfect.... I havent shot it yet.

When you say it seems off, do you mean that the holes are not at 12 o'clock or do you mean that the device seems to be threaded on crooked?
If it is rotated slightly, this may be to offset the slight sideways motion of the muzzle due to recoil pushing against your shoulder and causing you to rotate. Pics of what you are seeing may be helpful, as well as what muzzle device you are referring to. |
