I'm building a Bushy flat top rifle w/ a CMMG 20 in Medium barrel 1/7 twist to shoot 69-77 gr rounds with. I purchased the DCM competition lower reciever parts kit with 2 stage trigger. Is the Bushy 2 stage a decent triggerhug.gif, or did I just invest in a lemonh.gif??

UUuummm,

Only you can determine if you have a good trigger.
How does it feel? (BTW you can dry fire AR's all day long)
Is the two stage what you wanted? Is it a smooth take up and crisp, repeatable let off?
Even the absolute junk fire control parts will work until they are worn out (many many many rounds later).
So?

I never have any trouble with my Bushmaster 2 stage. I've lost the small hard plastic end in the 2nd stage adjuster a time or two, but with a call to Bushy I get one in the mail in a day or 2 for no charge. MAKE SURE WHEN YOU DRY FIRE IT THAT YOU HAVE THE UPPER IN PLACE or you'll crack the front of the lower!

Or get a hammer drop block.  That's my personal preference.

Sorry, I forgot to stress that part about dry firing; have the upper in place (and the FP).

You don't want the hammer to contact the lower when under spring tension.

ALWAYS, and I mean always, check the chamber before dry firing. And never point the rifle at anything you are not willing to destroy.
