That box of Winchester is not M193
NATO spec ammo will have the cross and will say M855 5.56 or M193 5.56 ETA I am not familiar with Ultra Max ammo, however it says .223 on the box. If it was realy 5.56 NATO it would say it on the box. If the brass has the NATO cross and and says LC on the heatstamp then it is probably remanufactured ammo, like Blackhills or Georgia Arms. |

The box on the top is great practice ammo but it is not M193 spec.
Winchester's M193 spec ammo will be labeled 5.56MM (not .223) and will have the code Q3131 for US production or Q3131A for Israeli on the lower right hand corner of the box. The Ultramax ammo is reloaded in LC cases with the NATO cross, but it isn't military ammo. |

The stuff on the top is walmart value pack Made In Israel 223 for Winchester. Its awesome stuff for plinking or target practice as its really accurate. Its not really hot enough for SHTF ammo but I keep plenty around anyway.
