   I'v read so much here about Colt being so out of "spec" I thought I'd better ask before I ordered!  Thanks- there is a LOT of knowledge on this board!!

Yes the RRA stock will work on your colt.

The Colt stocks and tubes are actually true milspec, the others are not, they have a larger OD on the tubes and large ID on the buttstock.

No the RRA stock will not work on your carbine buffer tube but if you swap the buffer tubes the non spec RRA unit should fit.  Only Colt, LMT and VLTOR offer milspec carbine tubes (reciever extensions)
