I just want to say hi to you all. I'm new to the site and want to say it is incredibly put together. I found you through one of your members. We are mutual Auto Mag nuts and aparently also mutual AR15 enthusiasts as well. He more than I but I'm coming into it. I look forward to communicating with you all. I am a machinist and a gunsmith and am hopeful I will be welcome in your neighborhood. I use to work for AMT, first as their Tool Maker, and later as their Service Manager. I was the one that designed and fabricated the first 10 Baby Automag's for them in 1985. It appeared on the cover of the June '85 issue of G&A magazine. In 1993, Eric Kincel and I co-designed the .40KMP which appeared in the '93 edition of GunWorld magazine. Hopefully, someone in here is familiar with my work.
Knowing that the infamous gun ban is soon to be lifted (Sept 12th/13th) I'm wondering what market there will now be for threading AR15's for Flash Hiders. I'm thinking around $40.00 for the job or $50.00 including the Hider. Any input would sure be appreciated. Thanks to anyone who would like to respond. I'm sure we'll be communicating alot in the fututre.
