Got me a new Bushmaster for Christmas.  Flat-top, free-floating handguard that was built by my brother.  Anyways, the hammer pin rotates with the hammer.  He says its nothing to worry about.  I say it will eventually enlarge the pin hole because the steel pin is harder than the aluminum receiver.  What do you think?  It has anti-walk pins, BTW.

hmmm..I would have thought that the "E" clips from the anti-walk pins would create enough tension against the sides of the receiver to prevent this.[:\] I would remove the pin and hammer, check the hammer out for any burrs or rough spot around the pivot hole, and lightly polish the pin with some 0000+ steelwool until the pin can rotate on the hammer. 10 min. job.
