I need to install a burnsed Loop on my new LMT. Dont really want to break out the dremel to remove the staked castle nut. Its staked pretty damn good.

Bigger wrench and it should just spin back, no need for the dremil.

P.S. you may want to check and make sure it wasn't loctited on as well.

No lock-tite is visible and from what Ive heard LMT stakes all of their lowers.

Not too sure about the "bigger wrench" approach.

Read Band tool for the bigger wrench, and brace the lower.
Trust me, even the biggiest stake job stands no chance against sheer will/brute force.

And just for kicks hit with a torch to heat it up.

I just swapped out an A2 stock for a M4 on my Bushy and I really had to put the muscle to it.  Thought BM had loctitied it so I hit it with the propane, after about 3 minutes of heat to the receiver extension it finally broke free.  Absolutely no sign of loctite.
